We wont stop until we achieve this,
with the help of others too,
we named it the Debonair trust,
in memory of you x x x
The Debonair trust was created in December 2009 in memory of our daughter Emon Debonair who passed away in 2005 from a hospital infection. Over the last 5 years over 35,000 people have died from uncontrolled hospital infections.
Our aim is to raise funds for antibacterial products to be used in medical centres & hospitals everywhere in the UK.
These innovated products have been invented/created specifically for the purpose of infection control. The products have been proven to kill germs (Otherwise known as Pathogens) on contact.
Everyone is welcome to arrange a fundraising event in aid of The Debonair Trust please contact us to find out how we can help you do this.
Help us to protect the future,
Jim and Jaie x

In
Loving Memory Of Emon
My beautiful angel Emon who passed away from a hospital infection on
13/04/2005 aged exactly 1 month: The reason for my concerns of
hospitals infection rate.
Its been 5 years since you left us,
our hearts still broken in two,
but now we have a mission,
to get some justice for you.
We want to help solve the problem,
that took you before your time,
and to prevent others suffering,
the lack of hygiene crime.
Hospital infections and super bugs,
kill hundreds everyday,
we want to help allpatients,
have a cleaner, safer stay.
Theres loads of products out there,
that kill super bugs on contact,
but the hospitals dont have enough to buy these,
thats a scary fact.
Thats where our special charity,
comes into place,
fundraising with the public,
to make our hospitals safe.
We wont stop until we achieve this,
with the help of others too,
we named it the Debonair trust,
in memory of you x x x

Our Cause
We appreciate that all medical centres & hospitals try their hardest to protect all patients by keepingas sterile an environment as possible with the equipment they have available with the limited purchase budgets allocated to them.
They need help withextra funding to buy the best, cost effective products, that really work
Products that, Do Kill Pathogens, Germs & Bacteria as Infections are transferable to us all.
We want to be able to help every patient!
We can all help each other by... Raising the funds to pay the extra few pounds needed to haveprotectionproducts that are proven to cut infections and the transfer ofpathogen germs to others.
We are currently looking for companies that would like to support their local hospital by supplying a ward with antibacterial products, If you would like to help with our campaign please contact us for more information.
Patients
The graph on the right shows the results of a BBC survey about hospitals. •As you can seethe patients biggest fears are catching a hospital infection.
We have had a very positive response from the public regarding our charity. With many people organising fundraising events such as sky diving, sponsored weight loss and tea mornings,
We are proud to also have the support of the Mayor of Waltham-forest, the Sun nationalnewspaper, and the department of health (To mention but a few).
The disposable cubical curtains (Shown in the photograph below), are coated in an antibacterial agent that:kills germs, on contact!
These curtains cost: £24.99 each,
Only £3.00 more than unprotected curtains (currently in use at most hospitals within the UK).
Fundraising - Get Involved
Our Targets:
The first target we would like to reach is to raise £5000 within a year, so we can become charity registered.
We would like to find a sponsor that thinks the same as we do and has the publics interests at heart.
We would love to bring the community closer together by involving them in our common cause of cutting death rates.
If you are able to help us reach these targets in any way, please do not hesitate to contact Jaie Schofield at The Debonair Trust for more information otherwise you can help us by taking part in our upcoming events, shopping online, whilst searching the internet using your favourite trusted search providers or by hitting the donate button at the top of this page.
